Our Mission: To enhance the lifestyles of all Veterans through SERVICE.
We were established to address the unfair practices and injustices that all veterans face.
The main goal of NABVETS WMD Chapter is to provide SERVICE.
We do this by providing assistance in social engagement, employment or entrepreneurship, residential issues, vocational pursuits, insurance, compensation, and education benefits designed around the SERVICE Framework.

S - OCIAL
We host social events that promote community building with an emphasis on reestablishing the camaraderie that we lost when we left the service.
E - CONOMIC
We offer referral networking opportunities and link you up with recruiters to find a job or secure better employment. We also help you start your business or help you grow your business if you’re already an entrepreneur.
R - ESIDENTIAL
We are partnering with developers, realtors, and funders to explore ways to end veteran homelessness in the Western Maryland region.
V - OCATIONAL
We partner with organizations to offer services to assist with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, interview skills, and job-seeking skills coaching.
I - NSURANCE
We help veterans protect what they’ve earned, what they own, and most importantly, those that they love.
C - OMPENSATION
We are comprised of Department of Veteran Affairs-certified claims officers to represent veterans filing claims for benefits.
E - DUCATIONAL
We help veterans and their family members apply for and manage the education and training benefits they’ve earned.
